Tea and Paint

Tea and Paint

About this event

Join me, I shall be hosting a playful, mindful and meditative afternoon of combining the enjoyment of painting with the comfort of sipping on a variety of teas.

However, do take note: You don’t need to paint like you’re an artist. You need to paint as you are. There’s no idea of good and bad— just pure expression as a form of release. As you feel, as the expression comes effortlessly. As a human with all the ‘flaws’. But be light, as a feather. The way will appear, as you give your mind the space to explore and be curious. You’ll be guided for sure and the rest is up to you.

Allow the inner child to have unrestricted fun and invent according to what it feels without any idea of mistake or no mistake. Just pure creative bliss. We often think we are not capable of creative expression especially because are told to do this or that like this or like that. To think like this or like that and then we become bound to limiting patterns that restrict our innocent expression— we are hardly allowed the freedom to start with not knowing. But that is where true creative energy blooms. The knowledge and systems may help guide us, but there is an unexplored stream of magic that we rarely tap into because we are usually not given freedom to be free of tradition and intellect.

Awaken your inner child. Awaken your magic. And from this safe space, you’ll easily be able to take what you need and form your own. For each and everyone is unique in their expression. And this uniqueness is what connects us all as one.

Embrace your madness.

All materials and refreshment provided, come as you are.
