Short answer: In Advanced settings, set Listing visibility to Hidden. Your event disappears from browse pages on the website, attendee app, and the public USSD menu—but anyone with the direct link can still open the page and buy (unless you also use a password).
When to use this
- Invite-only or soft-launch sales shared by link
- Corporate or community events you do not want on the public events homepage
- Testing ticket types before a big announcement
Steps
- Open Manage → Advanced settings (overview).
- Find Listing visibility.
- Select Hidden (instead of Listed).
- Click Save changes.
- Copy your Public page link at the top of the screen and share it with the right audience.
What still works
- Direct link to your event page
- Buying on the website and attendee app via that link
- Your event in your organizer dashboard, scanner, and point of sale
- Event-specific USSD codes where applicable (the public USSD menu will not list a hidden event)
Hidden is not the same as a password
Hidden means “not discoverable in listings.” Password means “must unlock before seeing tickets.” Compare both in Hidden vs password-protected events.
FAQ
Will Google show my hidden event?
Hidden and password-protected events are kept out of Google search and the events sitemap. Share your link directly.
How do I list the event again?
Return to Advanced settings, choose Listed, and save—unless a password is still on (password also removes listings).
