Short answer: After you create an event on AYATICKETS, open Dashboard → My events → Manage → Advanced settings to control when tickets go on sale, whether people can find your event in listings, and whether buyers need a password.
Who this is for
Event organizers in Ghana who want more control over launches, private sales, or link-only events—without changing how checkout, scanners, or payouts already work.
Before you start
- You have an organizer account.
- You have already created your event (name, date, tickets).
- You can open the event from My events in your dashboard.
How to open Advanced settings
- Sign in to your organizer dashboard on ayatickets.com or the Organizer app.
- Go to My events and select your event.
- Click Manage, then choose Advanced settings from the menu.
- Review the summary on the right (website, app, USSD, Google search, direct link, sales).
- Change what you need and click Save changes.
What you can control
- When tickets go on sale — sell immediately or schedule a ticket launch (Coming Soon).
- Ticket waitlist — let fans sign up for ticket alerts before sales open.
- Listing visibility — keep your event listed or hidden on the website, attendee app, and USSD menu.
- Password protection — require a password before anyone sees tickets (also removes the event from public listings).
- Open sales early — if you scheduled a launch, you can open ticket sales now and notify people on the waitlist.

Default behaviour
New events are listed, on sale when published, and not password-protected. Advanced settings are optional—turn on only what you need.
FAQ
Do Advanced settings work on the app and USSD?
Yes. Ticket timing applies on the website, the attendee app, and USSD. Password-protected events cannot be sold from the public USSD menu.
Where is my event link?
At the top of Advanced settings under Public page. Copy the link and share it anywhere.
