Short answer: In Advanced settings, choose Schedule a launch, pick the date and time in Ghana time, and save. Tickets stay closed until that moment on web, app, and USSD.
When to use this
Use a scheduled launch when you are promoting a date and time (“tickets drop Friday 6 PM”) instead of selling the moment you publish the event.
Steps
- Open your event → Manage → Advanced settings (full guide).
- Under When tickets go on sale, select Schedule a launch.
- Enter Ticket sales start (Ghana time) in the format shown on screen.
- Optional: turn on Allow attendees to sign up for ticket alerts and customize the coming-soon message. See how to create a ticket waitlist.
- Click Save changes.
What attendees see
Your event page shows that tickets are coming soon. Buying is disabled until the start time you set. After that, tickets open automatically—no extra step from you.
Need to sell earlier?
Use Open ticket sales early to clear the schedule and start selling immediately (waitlisted fans can be notified).
FAQ
What if I pick a time in the past?
Sales are not held back. Set a future time for a true “coming soon” period.
Does this hide my event?
No. Scheduling only controls when people can buy. To remove the event from browse/search listings, use listing visibility.
